 ABOUT THE LEAGUE:
 
Let’s dive into the electrifying world of the Westfield PAL Boys Flag Football program and discover a game experience like never before! Since 1998, we’ve been igniting the flame of football passion in kids from 1st to 10th grade.
 
Due to the popularity of the program the Westfield PAL Boys Flag Football program is ONLY open to Westfield residents, those attending school in Westfield, or others who have played with us for 2 or more years.
 
But it’s not just about the game; it’s about fostering enduring friendships, learning the ins and outs of football, and embracing sportsmanship like true champions. Our program isn’t just about touchdowns and flag pulls; it’s about the laughter, the camaraderie, and the memories that last a lifetime. Join us and discover the excitement of the Westfield PAL Flag Football Boys program, where every moment is a touchdown of fun!

ABOUT THE SEASON:
 
All games are played at Tamaques Park located off Lamberts Mill Road in Westfield (Tamaques Park is also accessible from Dickson Drive). The 2026 season kicks off on Sunday September 13th and concludes on November 21st; Playoffs for our older division ends on November 22nd.
 
(IMPORTANT: Week 1 will be played on Sunday, with all other regular season games being played on Saturday & there are NO games Teachers Convention weekend)
 
The 2026 season time slots for games will be:
  • 1st grade BOYS AND GIRLS ONLY: 8:00AM – 9:30AM (30 minutes of practice followed by 60-minute games)
  • 2nd - 3rd grade: 8:00AM – 9:30AM (30 minutes of practice followed by 60-minute games)
  • 4th – 6th grade: 9:45AM – 11:15AM (30 minutes of practice followed by 60-minute games)
  • 7th - 10th grade: 9:45AM – 11:15AM (30 minutes of practice followed by 60-minute games)
 
ALL DIVISIONS ARE OPEN TO CO-ED PLAY! Both girls and boys are welcome to play in the Boys Flag Football League

4th-6th and 7th-10th Grad Draft Dates - TBD
 
We urge volunteers and coaches to participate as your involvement and support is crucial to our program’s success. There will be a MANDATORY coaches meeting. All coaches must undergo a required background check (link to follow).
 
Drafts for 4th -6th & 7th -10th draft will be “VITURAL”
 
 
FINANCIALS:
 
The cost for registration will be $150 per player. Save $30 during early registration, which will begin Friday May 1st and run through June 14th. Additionally, a late fee of $20 per player will be assessed starting August 3rd, and registration will close on August 30th.
 
NOTE: Girls Flag Football requires a separate sign-up! If you sign up to play in the BOYS FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE by mistake there will be a $20 processing change fee

IMPORTANT UPDATES FOR THE 2026 FALL SEASON:
 
1st Grade-Only Division – IS OPEN TO BOTH GIRLS AN BOYS!
 
Our 1st Grade-Only Division was a HUGE success. The feedback from both kids and coaches was that it created an outstanding environment for learning and fun. It was a great introduction to the program.
 
The division is designed specifically to:
  • Focus on learning the fundamentals of flag football
  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence
  • Provide a fun, supportive, and age-appropriate playing environment
  • Eliminate competition against older, more experienced kids
This is all part of our mission to help young athletes kickstart their flag football journey in the best possible way

2026 Fall Cheerleading

CHEERLEADING

The PAL Cheerleading Program is open to rising 3rd through 8th graders.

This is an excellent opportunity to introduce your young athlete to this sport, learn cheers, dances, and stunts in preparation for high school and/or competitive cheerleading. Cheerleading provides a great opportunity for kids to improve their coordination, increase strength, and have fun along the way.  

Westfield PAL Cheerleading 2026 Fall Season

Our programs focus is on learning the fundamentals of Cheerleading, instilling solid values and having fun! PAL sponsors the following programs: 

ELEMENTARY and MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAMS - Grades 3rd – 8th: 

This program is for both beginner and experienced cheerleaders in grades 3rd – 8th. Cheerleaders are taught the basics of the sport, while developing cheer skills, safety, teamwork, and leadership skills with an emphasis on having fun. Registration cost includes the cheer camps, team practices, practice shirts, team bows, the rental of the team uniform and pompoms. 

Registration for the 2026 Westfield PAL Cheerleading Season for the ELEMENTARY and MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAMS program will close on May 3rd.

2026 Westfield Wiffle Ball

Westfield Wiffle Ball League (Grades 2-8) – Spring 2026

Get ready for an exciting season of Wiffle Ball! The Westfield Wiffle Ball League is the perfect way for kids in grades 2-8 to enjoy the game in a fun, relaxed, and uncompetitive setting. Whether you’re a seasoned player or picking up a bat for the first time, this league is all about having a great time, making new friends, and playing the game we love.

Games will be played once a week on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 PM at Washington School Field in Westfield.
